Nexi: Your AI Assistant in Nekst

Nexi: Your AI Assistant in Nekst

Nexi is the AI assistant built into Nekst. On November 11, 2026, Nexi replaces Nekst AI on beta accounts only. Everyone else keeps Nekst AI for now. You can ask Nexi questions about your deals, and in the beta it can also make changes for you, always after you confirm. This article covers where Nexi lives, what it does, and how confirming its changes works.

Not in the beta? See Nekst AI: Your Chat Assistant Overview for what your assistant does today, plus how AI usage, the one-time AI consent, and the mobile and client apps work.

Where to find Nexi

Click the icon in the bottom right corner of Nekst to open the icon cluster. From top to bottom you will see Support Chat (the lifebuoy), Nexi (the blue circle with a smiling face and glasses), and the Communication Hub (the speech bubbles). Click Nexi to start. Click the blue X to close the cluster. On an email task, you will also see a Nexi button. Nexi is in the Nekst mobile app too.

Nexi only sees what you already have access to in Nekst.

What Nexi does now

These abilities read from your account and do not change your transactions.

  • Answer questions about a transaction. Nexi reads the transaction details page, notes and documents, and can pull up a document. Try "When is the inspection deadline?" or "Who is the lender on 123 Main?"
  • Answer questions across all your transactions. Nexi can summarize and do the math across your pipeline. Try "How many deals close this month?"
  • Write or clean up an email on an email task. This works on email tasks in workflows and in live transactions.

To write an email with Nexi:

  1. Open the email task and click the Nexi button.
  2. Type what you want the email to say.
  3. Pick a tone.
  4. Click Write with AI.

What beta testers can do

If you are in the Nexi beta, Nexi can also make changes, with your confirmation. These are beta features and may change as we test.

  • Communication Hub. Type @Nexi in any Communication Hub conversation to ask about the deal, get a suggested reply, or draft messages with smart tags. Nexi's answers are marked "Only you can see this," and Nexi never shows up as a participant in the conversation. You copy, edit or send a suggested reply yourself.
  • Tasks. Create standard, email, SMS and appointment tasks. Nexi drafts emails and texts but never sends them. For appointments, the Google Calendar invitation goes out from your calendar once you confirm. You can also move due dates (dependent tasks move too, and Nexi tells you which), edit an email task's recipients, sender, subject and message, complete, reopen or delete tasks, and assign, flag and comment. If you ask Nexi to delete a task, it warns you that a delete can't be undone.
  • Transactions. Change a status, stage or name. Change start and end dates, and Nexi asks whether to shift related tasks. Update detail boxes. Add notes, and Nexi asks whether the client should see the note in the Client Portal. Manage the people on a transaction, for example add a lender or make a teammate the transaction coordinator, and update a contact's details, like a phone number.
  • Team. See a team member's outstanding work and catch past due key dates across transactions.

Full list of beta actions

You can always ask Nexi what it can do. We'll keep adding to this list.

Tasks

  • Create a standard, email, or SMS task on a transaction, with a description, due date, assignees, and key date or private settings

  • Change the message of an email or SMS task, or its recipients and sender
  • Set, change, or clear a task's flag (such as "Waiting on client")
  • Set the number of days a task follows another task by
  • Complete a task, including on an earlier date, or reopen a completed task

  • Delete a task, along with any tasks that follow it

How confirming Nexi's changes works

Before Nexi creates, changes or deletes anything, it shows you a card with exactly what it is about to do. Nothing happens until you confirm.

  1. Ask Nexi to do something, such as creating a task.
  2. Review the card. It shows the details of the change, for example who a new task is assigned to.
  3. Edit anything that is not right. You can change the card before you confirm.
  4. Click the confirm button on the card. The label matches the action, for example Create task.

Questions do not change anything, so Nexi answers them right away without a card. If something on the card looks wrong, do not confirm it and nothing changes.

Confirm all changes

Nexi works the same way as Nekst AI here. It uses your team's shared monthly AI allowance, you get a warning at 80% of your included usage, and each user sees the one-time AI consent the first time they open it. Beta testers get extra AI usage while the beta runs. See How AI usage works for the details.

Giving feedback on Nexi

Every Nexi message has a thumbs up and a thumbs down. If you give a thumbs down, add a quick note on why, so we can see what went wrong. You can also use the in-app feedback button to tell us what to improve, which helps shape how Nexi is designed.

Joining the Nexi beta

The beta starts Wednesday, November 11, 2026 and runs for roughly 30 days. It is open to Pro users on a paid Nekst plan, and there is no charge during the beta. Testers get early access and extra AI usage while it runs, and a say in what we build next.

  1. Make sure you are on Solo Pro, or an Account Owner or Administrator on a Team Pro account.
  2. Open the sign-up form at https://s0cnw.share.hsforms.com/2paKyGUeNRm6i2HCrh8qkqQ, or open nekst.com/blog/nexi-ai-assistant-nekst and click Sign up for the Nexi beta.
  3. Once you sign up, Nexi turns on for everyone on your account on November 11.

Beta access and extra AI usage can end when the beta ends or at Nekst's discretion, and beta features may change or not always be available. Nexi can be wrong, so review its suggestions before you act on them.
