Nekst AI: Your Chat Assistant Overview


Nekst AI is a chat assistant built directly into your Nekst workspace. It's designed to help you move faster, reduce manual work, and get instant clarity across your transactions, tasks, contacts, and team activity — without ever leaving Nekst.

What you can ask Nekst AI


Nekst AI can answer questions and take actions across most of what's in your account. The most common use cases, grouped by area:


Transactions


  • Look up your transactions — active or closed
  • View transaction details: closing date, buyer/seller info, commission, key dates, and more


Tasks


  • View tasks for a specific transaction, filtered by due date, assignee, completion status, or key dates only
  • View your tasks across all transactions — past due, today's, or upcoming
  • Get full task details including descriptions, assignments, comment counts, and dependencies
  • Update an Email or SMS task's description manually or with an AI-generated draft


Email & SMS tasks


  • Generate a professional email draft for an Email task from a brief instruction
  • Apply the generated draft directly to the task


Contacts & team


  • Search for contacts by name
  • View contact details: email, phone, company, address
  • View everyone on your team


Team member activity & tasks


  • View a team member's task summary (active projects, incomplete tasks, overdue items)
  • View a team member's tasks filtered by due date, key dates, or completion status
  • View a team member's activity history across all transactions, filtered by date range or event type


Documents


  • View all documents on a transaction


Activity history


  • View a transaction's activity history filtered by date range, team member, or event type (emails sent, tasks completed, comments, etc.)


Notes


  • View all notes on a transaction


All conversations are saved so you can reference them later.



How AI usage works


To keep performance reliable for everyone, AI usage is included with your subscription and shared across your entire team.


Monthly AI allowance


Every plan includes a monthly AI allowance, visible on your Settings page in the left side column. The allowance:


  • Is shared across all users on the account
  • Resets at the start of each billing cycle
  • Covers normal, expected AI usage


Team Pro plans scale dynamically based on team size — Team Pro includes a base AI allowance plus additional usage for every admin and team member on the account.


On the Settings page you'll see your AI usage this month, what percentage of the allowance you've used, and when it resets.



Usage warnings and limits


Nekst gives you a heads-up before you run out:


  • A warning appears when your team reaches 80% of its included AI usage
  • Team owners and admins receive a notification at that point
  • When your included usage is fully consumed, AI chat is paused


If your usage is fully used, you'll be able to purchase additional AI Usage Packs (see below — coming soon). AI chat is only blocked when both your included usage and any purchased add-on usage are fully exhausted.


Add-On AI Usage Packs (coming soon)


If your team needs more AI capacity than the monthly allowance, you'll be able to purchase AI Usage Packs. These packs:


  • Are shared across the entire team
  • Roll over until fully used
  • Are stackable
  • Are consumed only after your monthly allowance is exhausted
  • Do not reset monthly


Only team owners and admins can purchase usage packs.



The first time a user accesses Nekst AI, a short acknowledgment appears. Before continuing, the user confirms that:


  • Nekst AI uses trusted third-party AI providers
  • Relevant transaction information may be sent securely to generate responses
  • The data is used only to answer your questions
  • The data is not used to train public AI models


This acknowledgment is shown once per user and only reappears if the policy changes.



Expanding to the full-page chat


Clicking the expand icon at the top of the chat box opens Nekst AI in a full-page view. This is where conversations can be referenced and stored.



Interacting with chat responses


Transactions and Tasks that appear in chat responses are hyperlinked for quick access.


You can also add them to Nekst AI's Context — a focus mode that tells Nekst AI to concentrate on a specific Transaction, Task, Contact, or other record. Click any link in a response and choose the desired action to add it to your conversation's context.
