See It Work: Create Your First Transaction from a Contract
This is the moment Nekst clicks. Pick one of your market's sample workflows, upload a signed contract, and watch Nekst AI fill in your deadlines and pre-write your emails — no setup required.
Don't customize anything yet. Use a sample workflow as-is for now so you can see how the system works. You'll make it your own right after.
Start the transaction
- On the Transactions or Tasks page, click + Add New Transaction.
- Enter a Transaction Name (usually the property address).
- Choose the Type (e.g., Pending Buyer).
- Select a Primary Workflow from your market's samples. (You can add secondary workflows later.)
- Upload your executed contract. Add up to 5 files total — addenda, amendments, disclosures. Each under 25 MB. PDF, DOCX, DOC, ODT, or RTF.
- Submit.


While your contract processes
Nekst AI reads your contract in the background — usually a minute or two. Use the time to add notes, set the property image, or assign a transaction stage.
When it finishes, you'll step through a quick 5-step review. This is where the magic shows up.

The 5-step review

Step 1 — Verify the extracted data. Nekst AI returns the dates and details it pulled from your contract. Take a minute here — this is the data your whole transaction is built on.
- Check it against the contract. Hover the green Sparkle icon next to any value to see the exact line Nekst AI used. Click the Sparkle to jump the PDF straight to that page.

- Fix anything that's off. Click directly on a value and type to correct it.
- Prioritize your key dates. The dates that drive deadlines — closing, inspection, financing — matter most. Your linked tasks schedule themselves from these.
- Reviewing multiple documents? Use the document switcher in the PDF viewer to check each file you uploaded.


Step 2 — Remove task groups that don't apply. No financing? No HOA? Remove the whole group in one click.

tep 3 — Review key dates. Here's the payoff: every task linked to a contract date has already adjusted itself to match your contract. The green Sparkle icon marks each one Nekst AI updated. You shouldn't need to edit anything — you already verified the dates in Step 1.

Step 4 — Review remaining tasks. Remove any non-date tasks you don't need for this deal.
Step 5 — Add your parties. Nekst AI pulls the contacts from your contract — agents, brokers, lender, buyer, seller. Match them to existing contacts or add new ones, and assign roles. (Team accounts add team members and a primary agent first.)

That's it. You now have a fully scheduled transaction — every deadline in place, every email pre-written with the contract's details.
