Setting up your Market (Previously "Detail Box Sets")
Getting Started with Markets in Nekst
We’ve replaced Detail Box Sets with our new Markets feature — making it faster than ever to get set up and running in Nekst.
Instead of building out your own list of Detail Boxes from scratch, simply choose your market and you’ll instantly get:
- Pre-built Detail Boxes with the key dates, details, and contract information used in your area.
- Custom Workflows of Tasks, Emails, and SMS messages that match your local listing and purchase contracts.
- AI Contract Reading so our system can extract the important dates and details directly from your contracts.
Everything is ready to go from day one — no heavy lifting required.
How to Get Started
- Select Your Market
Go to your account settings and choose your market from our list.
Once you select your market, it will appear as the Default Market. Clicking the Market Name will take you to the list of Detail Boxes we have setup for that market.
- Review Your Pre-built Detail Boxes
Your market comes with the most common details already loaded. Look them over to familiarize yourself with the information being provided from your contracts.
- If your contracts have details we aren’t currently tracking, tell us so we can add them for you and other users.
- Re-order Your Detail Boxes
Drag and drop them into any order you prefer for quick access during transactions.
- Hide Unnecessary Detail Boxes
If there’s information you don’t need to see (like personal property or loan type), simply hide it to keep your workspace clean, by clicking the pencil icon to the right of the Detail Box and change the visibility to "Hide".
- Add Custom Detail Boxes
If there is additional information you want to track (like Commission Split, Lockbox Code, or anything else!), you can add a Detail Box using any of the 4 formats - Date, Currency, Text or Long Text - by clicking the blue button titled ( + Add Detail Box) at the top right corner of the list. Then providing a name and format type in the modal.
With Markets, you can skip the setup headaches and start managing your transactions right away — knowing everything is aligned with your local contracts and ready to use.
What to do if your Market isn't listed and you want to start using Nekst?
If we don't have your market already in place for you, you have 2 options:
- Wait for us to setup your market and then get back to experimenting with Nekst
- You can create a "Custom Process" to unlock Nekst and the rest of it's features.
Creating a Custom Process
On this same page, click the ( + Create Custom Process ) button.
For Example: If you are looking to manage a new Contract for a buyer in your local market of Denver for example, you could create a process called "Buyer Contract" and the Type would be "Pending Buyer".
For "Alias", choose any single word you want to represent this process. This is only important for future integrations you may use.
From here, you can create a custom workflow and manually launch a new transaction using the Custom Process you created.
