Changing the Status of a Transaction


Every transaction has a Status that controls whether it's active in your workflow. There are three:


  • Active — transactions you're actively managing.
  • Closed — use when a transaction closes. This does not remove tasks; you can still complete post-closing tasks.
  • Archived — use when a transaction falls through, is cancelled, or terminated. This does remove all outstanding tasks from your to-do list.


How to change the status


  1. On the Transactions page, open the transaction you want to edit.
  2. Click Open… and select Transaction Setup.




  1. Change the Status and click Update.






The transaction now appears under the matching status on the Transactions page.


Archived removes all outstanding tasks. Closed keeps them, so you can still complete post-closing tasks.
