Setting up your Profile, Signature & Daily Notifications

When you first create your account, you will be asked to create your profile in Nekst. Most of the information requested is standard contact info, but here are a few items to note:


  1. Update your profile at anytime

You can change your contact information, signature or convert the account to a different team member by modifying the details in the profile. You can also upload each team members photo for a better user experience.


  1. Managing Notifications - Nekst Daily Activity Email

Nekst will notify you daily of the tasks due each day, including any past due tasks and the top 5 upcoming Key Dates. The email will arrive around 5:30am EST each morning. A sample email is below:


To turn daily task emails "On" or "Off", you can check the box at the bottom of your Profile Page:


  1. Adding A Signature


For any outgoing emails, you can create a signature in your Profile and have it automatically inserted into an Email using the SmartTag #sender.signature


You have two options for adding a signature:


Option 1: WYSIWYG Editor

Build your signature manually using the editor provided. You can copy and paste text and photos directly from your email client.

  • Use (Ctrl+C or Cmd+C) to Copy
  • Use (Ctrl+V or Cmd+V) to Paste



Option 2: Plain HTML (recommended for matching your email client)

Check the "Use Plain HTML Signature" box, then paste HTML from a signature generator like WiseStamp. This keeps images crisp and ensures your Nekst signature matches your Gmail or Outlook signature exactly.

  • Use (Ctrl+C or Cmd+C) to Copy
  • Use (Ctrl+V or Cmd+V) to Paste
