Getting Started with Markets in Nekst
We’ve replaced Detail Box Sets with the new Markets feature — making it faster than ever to get started in Nekst.
With Markets, you don’t have to build everything from scratch. Instead, choose your market and
Nekst instantly provides:
- Pre-built Detail Boxes with the key dates, details, and contract information for your area.
- Custom Workflows of tasks, emails, and SMS messages that match your local listing and purchase contracts.
- AI Contract Reading that extracts important dates and details directly from your contracts.
✅ Everything is ready to go from day one — no heavy lifting required.
How to Select Your Market
- Go to your Account Settings.
- Choose your Market from the list.
- Your selection will appear as your Default Market.
- Click the Market Name to view the Detail Boxes pre-loaded for that market.
💡 If your market isn’t listed, let us know — we’ll set it up within 3 business days.
Once you select your market, it will appear as the Default Market. Clicking the Market Name will take you to the list of Detail Boxes we have setup for that market.
With Markets, you can skip the setup headaches and start managing your transactions right away — knowing everything is aligned with your local contracts and ready to use.
What If Your Market Isn't Listed?
You have two options:
- Wait for us to add it – We’ll build it out and notify you once it’s ready.
- Create a Custom Process – This unlocks all Nekst features right away, even without a market set up.
Creating a Custom Process
- On this same page, click the ( + Create Custom Process ) button.
- Give your process a name (e.g., Buyer Contract).
- Type: Select the appropriate transaction type (e.g., Pending Buyer).
- Alias: Choose a single word to represent the process (used for future integrations).
- Add or edit Detail Boxes.
- Build your custom Workflow of tasks, emails, and SMS.
- Launch transactions manually using this Custom Process until your Market is available.
Why Markets Matter
Markets let you:
- Skip setup headaches.
- Align your workflows with local contracts from the start.
- Confidently manage transactions knowing everything is tailored to your area.
👉 Quick Start Example:
If you’re working in Denver and need to manage a buyer contract, create a Custom Process called Buyer Contract. Select Pending Buyer as the type, set an alias, and start building your workflow. Once Denver is live in Nekst, you can switch over seamlessly.
