How to Copy & Update a Workflow

The fastest way to get started in Nekst is to copy an existing Workflow and make it your own — whether you're customizing one of Nekst's pre-loaded Workflows or duplicating one you've already built.

Copy a Workflow

  1. Go to the Workflows page and select the Workflow you want from the dropdown.
  2. Click the Edit button and choose Copy Workflow.

  1. Enter a new Workflow name and associate it to a Market.

Once you save the copy with its new name, every change from that point forward saves automatically.

Copying to a Different Transaction Type

You can copy a Workflow to a different Type (for example, a Buyer Workflow to a Seller Workflow). If you do, update any Email and SMS messaging and re-link each task to the matching Detail Boxes for that Type.

The Pre-Loaded Workflows

Nekst comes with ready-to-use Workflows you can copy and customize:

  • Nekst 2.0 - Pre Listing Plan — Prep your listing before it officially hits the market.
  • Nekst 2.0 - 180 Day Listing Plan — Guide your listing from the listing agreement through expiration or an accepted offer.
  • Nekst 2.0 - Buyer Closing Plan — Manage buyers purchasing a home.
  • Nekst 2.0 - Seller Closing Plan — Guide a seller from under contract through closing.
  • Nekst Active Buyer Roadmap — Manage active buyers from the Buyer Representation Agreement through finding a home. Includes tasks for the Buyer Roadmap on the Client Portal.

Editing a Workflow does not update transactions already using it. Your changes apply only to new transactions going forward.
