Task Display Settings
You can now customize how tasks appear inside each transaction by setting your default Task Display preferences. These updates help you control what you see first, whether you want a cleaner task list or a full overview of everything happening in a transaction.
These settings are managed in your account settings, not inside the transaction itself.
How to Update Your Task Display Preferences
To adjust these defaults:
- Go to Settings
- Select Preferences
- Scroll to Tasks Display
From here you can control two key options.

Show or Hide Completed Tasks
You can choose whether completed tasks automatically appear in your task list for every transaction.
- Enable Show Completed Tasks by Default if you want completed items visible
- Disable it if you want a cleaner list that only shows open tasks
You can still manually expand completed tasks at any time inside a transaction.
Choose Your Default Task View
You can decide which group of tasks should appear first when viewing any transaction.
Available options:
- Due Today
- Past Due
- No Due Date
- All Tasks
Pick the view that fits your workflow.
For example:
- Daily workflow: choose Due Today
- Catch up workflow: choose Past Due
- Oversight workflow: choose All Tasks
Your selection will apply to every transaction automatically.
Works on Both Web and Mobile
These preferences apply globally across the web app and the mobile app, so your task view stays consistent no matter where you work.
