Syncing your Nekst Calendar with Google Calendar (or other iCal supported programs)

Syncing your Nekst Calendar with Google Calendar (or other iCal Supported programs)

Keep every important deadline in front of you by adding your Nekst tasks to the personal calendar you already check every day. Once you subscribe, your contract deadlines, contingencies, and closings appear automatically alongside your other appointments — and they update on their own whenever dates shift in Nekst. No double entry, and no risk of a missed Key Date.

Most users subscribe to the Key Dates calendar — it keeps your personal calendar clean by showing only the dates that matter most.

You can choose to display:

  • All Tasks — everything assigned to you
  • Key Dates — just the important dates like contingency deadlines and closing dates (most people sync with this one)

Each option has its own link, so pick the one that matches how much detail you want in your personal calendar.

To access your personal Calendar Links, click on the ( CALENDAR LINKS ) button in the header.

Click the Clipboard icon at the end of the link to copy it, then paste into your personal calendar.

Here are some tutorials for adding your calendar to the most popular free Calendars:

Google Calendar (See Step 2)

Outlook Calendar

Here are a few more Nekst Calendar tips:

  • Please note that tasks only sync one way. You cannot edit Nekst tasks from a 3rd party calendar but need to login to change dates instead.
  • You can display ALL tasks or just Key Dates by choosing the matching link above
  • The tasks are color coded by Transaction but these colors do not carry over into a 3rd party calendar.
  • Most tasks will show up under "All Day" or in the "12am" section of a calendar

Heads up: calendar updates aren't instant. When you add, complete, or reschedule tasks in Nekst, your personal calendar may take time to reflect the change — each provider controls its own refresh schedule, and it can't be sped up from Nekst. Typical refresh times:Google Calendar — every 12–24 hours (not adjustable)Outlook — about every 3 hoursApple Calendar — adjustable from every 5 minutes to weekly in your subscription settingsIf a date looks out of sync, always treat Nekst as the source of truth.
